"Kasteel ter Meiren", zogenaamd naar het waterrijk, moerassig gebied, zie de Ferrariskaart (circa 1775). Eclectisch landhuis met elementen ontleend aan de neo-Vlaamserenaissance en het neoclassicisme, gebouwd circa 1935, plan dateert van 1/2/1935; ten westen gelegen bijgebouw van circa 1937; opgetrokken naar ontwerp van architect Jean Winders (Brussel) als jachtslot voor John Lijsen, zoon van J.C. Lijsen (nummers 54-56).
