Aan Sas 4 in Dessel kruisen zomaar even drie kanalen: Bocholt-Herentals, Dessel-Schoten en Dessel-Kwaadmechelen. Uniek in Europa! Bovenop de 37 meter hoge uitkijktoren geniet je van een schitterend uitzicht over het lappendeken van kanalen, meren en plassen. In de toren loopt een permanente expo over het witte zand, de kanalen en de toeristische toppers. Is de klim – maar liefst 216 treden! – voor jou niet haalbaar? In het bezoekerscentrum kan je de beelden van het uitzicht bekijken op een tv-scherm. Of beklim de toren via een VR-bril. Net echt! De kinderen leven zich uit in het speelbos.
