Het Kanaal Leuven-Dijle is een van de oudste in België. Het verbindt de kanaalkom in Leuven met het Zennegat in Mechelen over een afstand van 30 km. De vijf authentieke sluizen - Tildonk, Kampenhout, Boortmeerbeek, Battel en Zennegat - en hun omgeving zijn beschermd. Vandaag zie je er niet alleen imposante vrachtschepen. De jachthaven aan het sluizencomplex in Kampenhout illustreert de groeiende populariteit van het kanaal bij pleziervaarders.
