De Druppel is een interactieve installatie die
bestaat uit 165 emmers. De emmers zijn op
mekaar gestapeld, negen lagen hoog, in de
vorm van een piramide. Alleen de bovenste
emmer is gevuld met water. Deze kunstingreep
hangt helemaal af van het weer: zodra het gaat
regenen, stroomt de bovenste emmer over en
wordt een druppel ineens een fontein. Er komt
geen pomp aan te pas, deze fontein stroomt
op hemelwater. Het werk komt dan ook het
volst tot zijn recht onder een mals, typisch
Belgisch buitje.
