In 2017 zag deze fietsbrug over het Albertkanaal het levenslicht. De brug kwam er omdat de IJzerlaanbrug definitief verdween. Via de Samberstraat fiets je nu in één ruk van de Damwijk en Spoor Noord naar de Bredabaan in Merksem. Twijfel niet om boven even te stoppen en je camera boven te halen. Het uitzicht is altijd mooi, maar bij zonsopgang en zonsondergang is het niet minder dan spectaculair.
