De Hoge Mote, centraal gelegen in het historisch centrum is zonder twijfel een grensverleggend onthaal- en belevingscentrum. De restauratie van de site mag gezien worden, het is een erfgoedparel met verrassende hedendaagse accenten en de vaste stek van Toerisme Ronse. De perfecte start voor een stadswandeling of een regioverkenning.
Aan de hand van interactieve panelen, luisterverhalen, filmpjes en virtual reality kunnen bezoekers meer ontdekken over Sint-Hermes, de ontwikkeling van Ronse en textiel en Vlaanderens mooiste landschap. De informatie is beschikbaar in vier talen.
De Hoge Mote had al drie torens, met een vierde toren is het uitzicht compleet.
Het belevingscentrum kan gratis bezocht worden en is zonder enige twijfel een familievriendelijke hotspot in de Vlaamse Ardennen. De bezoeker die alle modules wil ontdekken is op z’n minst een uurtje zoet.
