Aan de rechterkant van de Hoefijzervijver mondt een ander beekje uit, dat in een kunstmatige bedding stroomt. Dat is de Bocq, die verwijst naar de rivier in de provincie Namen in de buurt van Dinant waarnaar hij vernoemd is. Verder stroomopwaarts ligt een drinkwaterbekken dat wordt gevuld met bronwater van de Naamse Bocq en dat inderdaad in onze kleine Brusselse Bocq stroomt als het bekken overvol raakt.
