De oorspronkelijke kerk op deze plek werd gebouwd in 1886 maar ze werd nagenoeg helemaal verwoest tijdens het bombardement op 5 april 1943. In 1947 al werd de kerk heropgebouwd. Je kan de kerk vinden vlakbij het cultureel centrum van de stad. Vlakbij vind je ook een erg fijne speeltuin.
