Het Sint-Annastrand op linkeroever verwijst naar het voormalige dorpje Sint-Anna. Toen was het strandje een populaire trekpleister bij veel Antwerpenaren. Met een veerboot kwamen ze hierheen om van de befaamde mosselen op Sint-Anneke te genieten. Ook vandaag kan je nog steeds mosselen proeven in een van de talrijke horecazaken. Daarna kan je op het strand wegdromen bij een weids uitzicht op de Schelde, de skyline van Antwerpen en de haven.
Naast het stadsstrand langs de Schelde vind je hier ook openluchtzwembad De Molen, een minigolfbaan, een camping, een jachthaven, diverse speelgelegenheden en het Sint-Annabos. In de zomermaanden is het vaak gezellig druk op en rondom het strand.
