Deze picknickplaats bevindt zich bij de vijver in het Sint-Pietersveld bij de zogenaamde scheepsput waar een eeuw geleden nog matrozen opgeleid werden.

Een mooi stukje natuur. Een eeuw geleden, werd in deze vijver matrozen opgeleid. Een schip, middenin het water deed dienst als oefenplaats. Onlangs werd De Scheepsput helemaal ingericht met avontuurlijke speelnatuur. Een paradijs voor kinderen.
