De locatie van deze molen vinden we al op kaarten uit de middeleeuwen. De huidige molenromp dateert van einde 19e eeuw. De molen was maalvaardig tot 1953 door de installatie van een elekrische maalderij. Nadien ging het sterk bergaf met de molen tot de laatse molenaard deze verkocht. De nieuwe eigenaar restaureerde delen van de molen en momenteel is de molen omgevormd tot een woonhuis.
