Denis Meyers werd in 1979 in Doornik geboren, maar woont en werkt in Brussel. Als veelzijdig stadsartiest staat hij bekend om zijn fresco’s én zijn stickers in de vorm van gezichten (die hij zijn ‘perso’ noemt).
In 2014 besloot een groep vrijwilligers met een passie voor kunst en cultuur om in La Roche-en-Ardenne de eerste editie van het BAM-festival te organiseren, een volledig gratis festival voor hedendaagse kunst met een mix van tentoonstellingen, concerten en filosofie.
Een vijftigtal kunstenaars nam verschillende expositieruimtes in, verspreid over de stad, voor een ontdekking van vele stijlen en technieken zoals: keramiek, straatkunst, collectieve fresco's, fotografie, beeldhouwkunst, videoperformances, schilderkunst, gravure...
Naast deze exposities waren er concerten, filosofiewandelingen en conferenties.
