Dit monument is een eerbetoon aan het 14e linieregiment van het Belgische leger dat vocht in de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Het monument is ontworpen door beeldhouwer Edmond Falise en bevindt zich aan de voet van de citadel van Luik, net nadat je de Montagne de Bueren beklimt.
