Start aan de parking van De Kring, Onderwijslaan 2 te 3600 Waterschei (Genk).

Deze wandellus is grotendeels gebaseerd op de lokale grijze wandellus van het Regionaal Landschap Maas en Kempen.

Bos, heide, duinen, heuvels, cultureel erfgoed en een mijndorp passeren we op deze route. 

Aan de start/finish is er horeca aanwezig.
