Narcissen, lentetijd! Tuincentra bieden ze aan, maar ook in de natuur zijn ze prachtig. Wil je die wilde variant ontdekken? Trek dan je stappers aan voor een stevige tocht door de graslanden van Gelinden.

De wetenschappelijke naam van de wilde narcis verwijst in het tweevoud naar die ongelukkige adonis: Narcissus pseudonarcissus. We gingen ernaar op zoek op de flank van de Herkvallei in de Truiense deelgemeente Gelinden, waar zich onder meer het natuurreservaat Overbroek bevindt. Geologen komen van heinde en ver om de unieke mergelwanden te bestuderen.
