Description by the author

De wandeling vertrekt op de parking van de abdij Van Tongerlo. Door de adbij ga je naar het Sportacentrum. Vervolgens ga je richting "de Zeven Dreven", over de Asberg naar de Nete. Langs de Nete kom je aan het kasteel de Merode. Je gaat richting Bergom, aan de kerk linksaf en uiteindelijk langs een lange dreef kom je in het centrum van Westerlo. Door het centrum ga je naar het gemeentehuis (kasteel Jeanne de Merode), vervolgens langs de jeugdherberg en via een smal padje (juist voorbij een verkeersdrempel rechts) kom je aan het Hof (restaurant). Langs de Boerenkrijglaan ga je terug naar de parking van de abdij.
