Wij starten in Ombret en zijn vervallen kerk en kiezen deels de GR576, Travers de Condroz. Via de Oxhe vallei klimmen we naar Villers-le-Temple, met zijn donjon en 'Commanderie' van de Tempeliers.

Vanuit Villers-le-Temple stappen we naar Tour Malherbe, zodat we opnieuw aankomen aan de vallei van Oxhe. We nemen niet de kortste weg terug, maar maken nog een ommetje naar Hermalle-Sous-Huy en zijn kasteel

We volgen de Maasvallei naar het westen, om via de archeologische site van Thier D'Olne terug te keren naar Ombret. Dit in een avontuurlijke en reliëfrijke dagwandeling van 22,6km.
