De Fründenhut is een berghut van de Zwitserse Alpenclub, sectie Altels. Het ligt in de gemeente Kandersteg in het kanton Bern in Zwitserland.
De hut ligt op een rotsachtige vooruit die in de bouwperiode van de hut in 1936 aan beide zijden door de gletsjer werd omstroomd, boven de Fründengletscher. Ten noorden van de hut ligt de Fründengletscher, ten zuiden ligt, 1000 hoogtemeters lager, het Oeschinensee. Zonnig begint de Galletgrat naar het Doldenhorn, ten zuidoosten ligt de naamgever van de hut, de Fründenhorn.
