Husum is een Duitse havenstad aan de westkust van de Noordzee, ongeveer 80 kilometer ten westen van Kiel in de deelstaat Sleeswijk-Holstein. Het is de Kreisstadt van de Kreis Noord-Friesland, en telt 23.249 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 25 km². Schobüll is een deel van de stad Husum. De stad ligt slechts enkele kilometers ten zuiden van de dam naar Nordstrand.
