Strausberg is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Brandenburg, gelegen in het Landkreis Märkisch-Oderland. De stad telt 25.946 inwoners.
Strausberg is een stad met een tramlijn, de Strausberger Eisenbahn , waarvoor zelfs een museum bestaat. Deze tramlijn geeft aansluiting op het Berlijnse S-Bahn station Strausberg Hauphbahnhof gelegen aan de spoorlijn Berlin-Lichtenberg - Kostrzyn . Vanaf dit station takt de S-Bahn van de hoofdlijn af als een zijlijn naar Strausberg Nord met tussenhaltes bij Hegermühle en Strausberg Stadt. Strausberg heeft ook een klein vliegveldje.
