Bevern is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Nedersaksen. De gemeente maakt deel uit van de Samtgemeinde Bevern in het Landkreis Holzminden. Bevern telt 3.831 inwoners.
Bevern ligt enkele kilometers ten oosten van de Wezer, aan de daarin uitmondende beek Beverbach, en ligt aan de Bundesstraße 64. Ten noorden, zuiden en oosten strekt zich het Weserbergland uit. Het berggebied aan de noordkant heet Vogler, dat aan de zuidkant Solling.
