Fürstenberg is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Nedersaksen. De gemeente maakt deel uit van de Samtgemeinde Boffzen in het Landkreis Holzminden. Fürstenberg telt 1.023 inwoners.
Fürstenberg ligt aan de oostoever van de Wezer, en aan de westflank van de bergrug Solling, die tot het Wezergebergte behoort. De stad Höxter aan de andere kant van de Wezer ligt circa 6 km ten noordwesten van Fürstenberg. Het dorp is niet per trein bereikbaar, maar vanuit Höxter wel per streekbus. Fürstenberg ligt ietwat bezijden de grote hoofdwegen, maar de binnenwegen, die het met de dorpen in de omgeving verbinden, zijn in goede staat.
