Lage is een stad en gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen, gelegen in de Kreis Lippe. De gemeente Lage telt 34.885 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 76,04 km².
De omgeving van Lage is nog altijd vrij sterk agrarisch van karakter. Er worden veel suikerbieten verbouwd. Sinds 1884 heeft Lage een suikerfabriek, die o.a. de Duitse tak van het Coca-Cola-concern als grote klant heeft.
