Telgte is een stad en gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen, gelegen in de Kreis Warendorf. De gemeente Telgte telt 19.841 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 90,70 km². Het is een belangrijk bedevaartsoord van de Rooms-Katholieke Kerk.
Telgte bestaat uit de kernstad Telgte, en daarnaast uit het dorp Westbevern met circa 4.000 inwoners, en dan nog verder noordelijk Vadrup met ruim 2.000 inwoners.
