Het klooster Hofen, ook bekend als kasteel Friedrichshafen, is een voormalig Benedictijnen klooster aan de Bodensee op het gebied van de huidige stad Friedrichshafen.
Het klooster Hofen werd rond 1085 gesticht door de vrouw van graaf Otto I van Buchhorn, Berta, als vrouwenklooster van de Benedictijnen. De nabijgelegen parochiekerk St. Andreas en Pantaleon van de
graaf van Buchhorn werd ondergebracht bij het klooster. Rond 1100 gaven de Welfen het aan hun huisklooster, het klooster Weingarten, dat een proost naar zijn leiding stuurde. In 1215 werd de kerk opnieuw gebouwd. In de 13e eeuw kreeg het klooster, naar het nabijgelegen gehucht, de naam klooster Hofen. Het kloostergebied viel - samen met het gelijknamige dorp - onder de rechtsbevoegdheid van de schenk van Schmalegg-Ittendorf.
