De Gauss-toren is een zend- en uitkijktoren op de Hohen Hagen in het Dransfelder Stadtwald in de zuidoostelijke Landkreis Göttingen.
De Gauss-toren staat ten zuiden van het topgebied van de Hohen Hagen, de hoogste berg van het Dransfelder Stadtwald dat ten zuiden van Dransfeld ligt. Langs de toren loopt de Hohe-Hagen-Straße, die in Dransfeld van de Bundesstraße 3 afbuigt en in de richting van het zuiden naar de berg en vervolgens noord-oostwaarts naar de Landesstraße 559 leidt. Te voet is de toren bijvoorbeeld bereikbaar via het Studentenpad of tijdens een wandeling in het Dransfelder Stadtwald.
