Holstein Kiel is een Duitse voetbalclub uit Kiel. De club werd landskampioen in 1912 nadat ze in de halve finale van de verdedigende kampioen Viktoria 89 Berlin wonnen en in de finale van Karlsruher FV die 2 jaar eerder kampioen waren. Sinds 1911 speelt de club in het Holstein-Stadion. Van 1903 tot 1963 was de club actief in de hoogst mogelijke speelklasse.
De club werd opgericht op 4 mei 1902 als FC Holstein Kiel door scholieren van de Oberrealschule. In 1908 werd de naam gewijzigd in FV Holstein Kiel. Nadat de club ook actief werd in atletiek en hockey werd in 1914 de naam SV Holstein Kiel aangenomen.
