De Sösetalsperre is een stuwmeer in het Nedersaksische deel van het Harz bij Osterode am Harz, Nedersaksen.
De Sösetalsperre werd als eerste stuwmeer van de Harzwasserwerke gebouwd van 1928 tot 1931 aan de Söse en is bedoeld voor de drinkwatervoorziening, de bescherming tegen overstromingen, het verhogen van lage waterstanden en de elektriciteitsopwekking. De bouw van de stuwmeer kostte destijds 14,7 miljoen rijksmark. De exploitant is de Harzwasserwerke. In 1933 begon de bouw van een hoofdwaterleiding van de Sösetalsperre, waarvan de noordelijke tak tot in Bremen reikt. Tegenwoordig worden vooral steden en gemeenten in de regio Hildesheim en Hannover van water voorzien. Sinds 1980 ontvangt ook de stad Göttingen drinkwater uit de stuwmeer.
