Het Universitair Ziekenhuis Aken in Aken is na de Campus Gasthuisberg van het Universitair Ziekenhuis Leuven het grootste in één enkel gebouw gevestigde ziekenhuis van Europa. Het complex ligt in het stadsdeel Laurensberg, net over de Duits-Nederlandse grens bij Vaals. Het complex maakt deel uit van de RWTH Aken. Het ziekenhuis werd ontworpen door het Akense architectenbureau Weber + Brand en werd in 1985 officieel in gebruik genomen. De totale bouwkosten bedroegen meer dan 2 miljard DM .
