De Lippische Landeskirche is een van de 20 ledenkerken van de Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland. Zoals alle landkerken is het een publiekrechtelijke instelling, gevestigd in Detmold. De Lippische Landeskirche heeft 159.396 gemeentelidmaatschappen in 58 gereformeerde en 10 lutherse kerkgemeenschappen, evenals een niet-bevindelijk gespecificeerde evangelische kerkgemeente. Het is een van de drie evangelische landkerken in de deelstaat Nordrhein-Westfalen, de andere zijn de Evangelische Kirche im Rheinland en de Evangelische Kirche von Westfalen.
