Luchthaven Brilon/Hochsauerland is een speciale landingsplaats en ligt ongeveer zeven kilometer ten oosten van het stadscentrum en ongeveer twee kilometer ten zuiden van de Brilonse wijk Thülen. De exploitant is LSV-Brilon e. V., dat meer dan 200 leden heeft. De plaats is goedgekeurd voor ballonnen, zweefvliegtuigen, motorzweefvliegtuigen, ultralichte vliegtuigen, motorvliegtuigen en helicopters met een maximaal startgewicht van tot 5 ton. Verder is parachutespringen mogelijk.
