Een tankstation, benzinestation of pompstation is een plaats waar bestuurders van motorvoertuigen hun brandstof bij kunnen vullen, het zogenaamde "tanken". Bijna alle tankstations beschikken over benzine (euro 95 of 98) en diesel en op veel plaatsen kan ook autogas (lpg) getankt worden. Tegenwoordig zijn ook tankstations voor aardgas, biogas, hcng, waterstofgas en biobrandstof in opkomst. De infrastructuur voor het opladen van elektrische voertuigen heet een oplaadpunt.
