Het Chemnitzer Operahuis is de belangrijkste speelplaats van de muziektheatertakken van het Theater Chemnitz. Het werd gebouwd van 1906 tot 1909 in Chemnitz, de architect was Richard Möbius. Het bevindt zich op het Theaterplatz, tussen de aangrenzende gebouwen van het König-Albert-Museum en de Petrikirche.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd het operahuis zwaar beschadigd, maar werd het van 1947 tot 1951 weer opgebouwd.
