Zerre, obersorbisch Drětwja, is een deelgemeente van de gemeente Spreetal in de Oberlausitz. Tegelijkertijd is Zerre de noordelijkste plaats in de Landkreis Bautzen. Van 1936 tot 1947 droeg de plaats de naam Spreetal. Zerre behoort tot het officiële sorbische nederzettingsgebied.
Zerre ligt vijf kilometer ten zuiden van Spremberg in de vorm van een straatdorp aan de oude weg tussen Spremberg en Hoyerswerda. Ten noorden van Zerre loopt de Saksisch-Brandenburgse grens, achter welke de Spremberger voorstad Trattendorf ligt. In zuidelijke richting ligt het kerkdorp Spreewitz, in het westen ligt het industriepark Schwarze Pumpe en ten noorden daarvan de plaats Schwarze Pumpe.
