Bij creatie was het de langste voetgangersbrug van Duitsland: de "Geierlay". Ze werd in 2015 geopend. Ze is 360 meter lang en verbindt de plaatsen Mörsdorf en Sosberg en zweeft 100 meter boven het dal van het riviertje de Mörsdorfer Bach. De brug ligt op de wandelroute van de Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, die in 2009 werd verkozen tot de mooiste wandelroute van Duitsland.
