Het Waterloo-monument op het Luisenplatz in Wiesbaden herdenkt de soldaten van het Hertogdom Nassau die vielen in de Slag bij Waterloo in 1815.
Sinds 1806 had het Hertogdom Nassau, als onderdeel van de Rijnbond, aan de zijde van Napoleon gestaan. Pas na de Slag bij Leipzig in 1813 wisselde Nassau van kant en vocht voortaan in de Bevrijgingsoorlogen in de Alliantie tegen Frankrijk. In de Slag bij Waterloo in 1815 vochten de hertogelijke troepen in het Engels-Nederlandse leger. In deze slag verloren 887 Nassau-soldaten hun leven. Voor de overlevenden werd de Waterloo-medaille ingesteld.
