Mont-Tonnerre was een Frans departement in Duitsland van 1798 tot 1814. Het departement was vernoemd naar de Donnersberg. De zetel van het departement was het paleis Osteiner Hof in de hoofdstad Mainz in het uiterste noorden van het departement.
Mont-Tonnerre omvatte delen van de huidige deelstaten Rijnland-Palts en Saarland. Het was het meest zuidelijk gelegen van de vier departementen die in 1798 gevormd werden bij de Franse annexatie van het gebied langs de linkeroever van de Rijn.
