Het natuurgebied Altmain en zandmagerrasen bij Limbach ligt in de Landkreis Haßberge in Unterfranken.
Het 273,5 ha grote gebied met de nr. NSG-00408.01, dat in 1992 onder bescherming is gesteld, strekt zich uit aan beide zijden van de Main, tussen Sand am Main in het zuidwesten en Limbach, een deel van de stad Eltmann, in het zuidoosten. Ten zuiden van het gebied loopt de A 70 en ten noordoosten de B 26.
