Pastrana is een gemeente in de Spaanse provincie Guadalajara in de regio Castilië-La Mancha met een oppervlakte van 96 km². Pastrana telt 915 inwoners .
In de 16de eeuw trok de mysticus Johannes van het Kruis, in het Spaans San Juan de la Cruz genoemd, naar Pastrana om daar een klooster van de Ongeschoeide Karmelieten op te richten. Hij koos voor een grot die enkele kilometers buiten de stad ligt. Deze grot is nog steeds te bezichtigen. Het gebouw ernaast is nog steeds een klooster, waar een honderdtal schilderijen hangen waar het religieuze leven van Theresia van Ávila is uitgebeeld, een tijdgenote van San Juan en medestichteres van Ongeschoeide kloosters.
