De Slag bij Simancas was een militaire strijd die op 19 juli 939 op het Iberisch Schiereiland begon tussen de troepen van de koning van León Ramiro II en de Omajjaden kalief Abd al-Rahman III bij de muren van de stad Simancas.
De strijd voltrok zich nadat het leger van Abd al-Rahman III in 934 naar de noordelijke christelijke gebieden was gelanceerd. Abd al-Rahman III had een groot leger califale jagers verzameld, met de hulp van de Moorse gouverneur van Zaragoza, Abu Yahya. Koning Ramiro II van León leidde de tegenaanval met een leger bestaande uit zijn eigen troepen, die van Castilië onder graaf Fernan Gonzalez, en de Navarrese onder García Sánchez I.
