Het kasteel of de alcazaba van Tabernas werd in de 11e eeuw gebouwd tijdens de Arabische dominantie. Gebouwd in een Nazarí-stijl, ligt het bovenop een heuvel aan de rand van de gemeente Tabernas, Almería. Hoewel het oorspronkelijk de hele heuvel besloeg, is er tegenwoordig nog maar een deel van overgebleven vanwege de Spaanse onafhankelijkheidsoorlog. Het beslaat een oppervlakte van 23.000 vierkante meter.
