Sol is een metrostation, gelegen naast het Madrileense Puerta del Sol, in de Spaanse hoofdstad Madrid. Het is onderdeel van de Metro van Madrid. Langs het station rijden lijn 1, 2 en 3
In 1919 werd station Sol geopend voor lijn 1. Later, in 1924, kwam lijn 2 langs het station. Zo ontstond er een verbinding tussen twee metrolijnen. In 1936 kon lijn 3 het station ook aandoen. Zo werd Sol een knooppunt van drie metrolijnen. In de jaren daarna zijn er aan lijn 1 en 3 verschillende werkzaamheden geweest, bijvoorbeeld verbreding van de perrons.
