In het Alhambra bos stonden in de 17e eeuw verschillende fonteinen verspreid langs de verschillende paden.
Tegenwoordig staan de Fuente del Tomate en de Fuente del Pimiento respectievelijk op twee kleine pleinen op het centrale pad en is de Driehoeksfontein verdwenen.
