In Beaumont-Hamel geeft het monument een aangrijpend en realistisch beeld van de gevechten dankzij een bewonderenswaardig goed bewaard netwerk van loopgraven. De site van 39 hectare werd in 1925 ingehuldigd. Ontdek het monument van de 29th Division, waartoe het 1st Newfoundland Regiment behoorde, de Caribou Mound, insignes van het Royal Newfoundland Regiment en het oorspronkelijke slagveld om het loopgravenstelsel te begrijpen. Een interpretatiecentrum maakt het bezoek compleet.
