Salins-les-Bains is een gemeente in Frankrijk. De stad ligt in het oosten van Frankrijk, ter hoogte van Zwitserland, tegen de Jura aan. De stad ligt aan de rivier Furieuse.De stad was eeuwenlang een centrum van zoutwinning en dankte hier haar rijkdom aan. Het was in de middeleeuwen een van de belangrijkste steden van Bourgondië. Sinds 1982 staat de zoutziederij van Salins samen met de Koninklijke zoutziederij van Arc-et-Senans op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO.
