Charnay-lès-Mâcon is een gemeente in het Franse departement Saône-et-Loire . De gemeente telde 7.742 inwoners op 1 januari 2019. De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Mâcon.In de 10e eeuw werd een kapittelkerk geopend in Charnay. Deze werd in de eerste helft van de 12e eeuw vervangen door een romaanse kerk gewijd aan Sint-Pieter. In de 16e eeuw werd de kerk aan Maria Magdalena. De Sainte-Madeleine werd sterk verbouwd in de 17e en de 19e eeuw. In 1837 werd de klokkentoren gebouwd.
