Villefranche-sur-Mer is een gemeente in het Franse departement Alpes-Maritimes . De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Nice. Villefranche-sur-Mer telde op 1 januari 2019 5.033 inwoners.
De oppervlakte van Villefranche-sur-Mer bedraagt 4,88 km², de bevolkingsdichtheid is 1031 inwoners per km² . De stad werd in 1295 gesticht door Johanna I van Napels die toen gravin van de Provence was.
