Bij de oprichting in 1864 had de Steenmeulen drie functies: olie persen, bakbloem produceren en
verschillende granen vermalen tot dierenvoer. De molenaar M. Markey waakt met volle inzet
over deze stenen molen, de enige in de regio! Aan de voet van de molen vind je ook een plattelandsmuseum met oude landbouwmachines en gebruiksvoorwerpen uit de 19e eeuw. In de ontvangstzaal kan je proeven van ambachtelijke bieren en van pannenkoeken gemaakt met meel uit de molen.
