Dit monument is een gezamenlijk eerbetoon aan de strijders van WO I, WO II en en het Verzet.
Dit monument en gelijkertijd kruisbeeld is gewijd aan de doden van twee eenheden alpenjagers, de 27e en 67e BCA. Het werd opgericht in 1947 op de plek van de commandopost van luitenant Romieu, hoofd van de 2e compagnie van de 27ste BCA, die hier omkwam op 6 juni 1940.
In de omgeving van het monument staan informatietafels en -borden.
