Questo monumento è un omaggio congiunto ai combattenti della Prima Guerra Mondiale, della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e della Resistenza.
Questo monumento e allo stesso tempo crocifisso è dedicato ai morti di due unità di cacciatori alpini, il 27° e il 67° BCA. È stato eretto nel 1947 nel luogo del posto di comando del tenente Romieu, capo della 2ª compagnia del 27° BCA, che qui morì il 6 giugno 1940.
